Florian Mang

Ingénieur Études Neutroniques

Florian Mang is an experienced nuclear engineering professional currently serving as an Ingénieur études neutroniques at Framatome since November 2020. Prior to this role, Florian worked at URANUS as an Ingénieur d’études from September 2018 to September 2020, after gaining experience as a Stagiaire at IRSN from March 2018 to September 2018, where the focus was on developing a sodium-cooled fast reactor model. Florian also held an assistant engineer position at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie from May 2017 to August 2017, working on reactor core simplification methods. Earlier experience includes a first-year internship at Somfy Group, which involved developing communication and organizational skills. Florian holds a Master 2 degree in Energétique nucléaire from Grenoble INP - Phelma and a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering and Nuclear from the same institution.
