Pascal Brocheny

Pascal Brocheny is an accomplished professional in the field of nuclear engineering, currently serving as a Principal Investigator for Advanced Reactors at Framatome since 2014, where leadership of a multidisciplinary team on the ARC-20 microreactor project is a key responsibility. With extensive experience in design and plant operations, Pascal has a strong background in heat exchanger diagnostics, computational fluid dynamics, and predictive maintenance. Previous roles include Supervisor of Engineering for NSSS Thermal-hydraulics Analysis and Principal Engineer at Orano, where contributions included thermal-hydraulic calculations and NRC interactions. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University since May 2024, Pascal continues to lend expertise to the academic sector, supported by advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from Clemson University and Grenoble INP - Phelma, respectively. Leadership roles include serving as Chair of the Virginia Section of the American Nuclear Society.
