Framatome
Romain André is a nuclear engineer with experience in neutron studies and reactor core design. Currently working at Framatome since November 2022, Romain André conducts studies on reactor core behavior during normal and accidental conditions for the EPR FA3 project, utilizing Python scripts for process automation and data post-processing. Previously, Romain André interned at EDF, focusing on nuclear data sensitivity analyses and comparing results from different calculation codes. Additionally, Romain André gained experience in radiation physics and protection during an internship at TÜV SÜD Nuclear Technologies, analyzing water presence in radioactive waste storage containers. Earlier experience includes software development for a chatbot at Imeon Energy, aiding customers with technical inquiries related to photovoltaic installations. Romain André holds an engineering degree in nuclear engineering from IMT Atlantique.
