Stephen Johnson

Stephen Johnson is an experienced Lead Designer at Framatome since May 2007, specializing in the design of advanced nuclear systems, including the TerraPower Natrium Ex-Vessel Fuel Handling Machines and the General Atomics ARC-20 Fast Modular Reactor. Johnson has held various roles, including Asst. Project Engineering Manager and Engineering Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed client consultation, engineering personnel management, and safety permit approvals in a nuclear power plant environment. Prior experience includes roles as a Non-licensed Operator at Dominion and Senior Reactor Operator at the University of Texas at Austin's Nuclear Engineering Teaching Laboratory, as well as serving in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate 1st Class. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
