Thomas Pernot

Thomas Pernot has extensive experience in the nuclear engineering sector, currently serving as Engineering Group Manager at AREVA NP since March 2006. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Reactor Pressure Vessel Internals and managing a team of 15 engineers, focusing on workload optimization, performance evaluation, and technical supervision. Previously, Thomas held positions such as Deputy Group Manager, where responsibilities included coordinating engineering efforts for the Main Coolant Lines Design, and Technical Deputy Group Manager, leading fracture mechanics analyses for reactor pressure vessels. Early career roles involved mechanical design and analysis for nuclear safety, as well as internship experiences with BMW Group and Oxford University. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Polytechnique.
