Ty Smith

Ty Smith currently serves as the Project Controls - Operational Excellence Planning Lead for North America's Fuel Design Engineering at Framatome since April 2023. In addition, Ty Smith founded Black Men Speak in February 2024, a human-centered initiative focused on enhancing lived experiences through workshops and community development. Ty Smith also works as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant at iDEIntity since February 2023. Prior to these roles, Ty Smith had a distinguished career as a Special Operations member in the United States Department of the Army, where tenure lasted from July 2001 to December 2022. Academic credentials include an MBA in Executive Management, Leadership, and Business from Howard University, an MS in Strategic Leadership, and a BS in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston.
