Yves Combres began their career in research and development, focusing on the shaping of metals and alloys. They served as a research engineer at ARMINES and later held various managerial roles at Framatome, including overseeing production processes and plant management in both France and China. Currently, Yves is the General Manager of CAST Co Ltd at Framatome, where they lead a joint venture specializing in reactive alloy metallurgy. They hold multiple engineering degrees, including a doctorate in material science from Ecole des Mines de Paris and a postdoctoral degree in titanium metallurgy from the University of Tokyo.
