Amy Smith

Amy Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in recruitment, talent management, and HR. Amy currently works as the Global Director of Recruitment and Outreach at Framestore since October 2022. Previously, they held positions as the Head of Talent for Film and Head of Recruitment at Framestore between 2017 and 2022. Before that, they were a Recruitment Manager at Framestore and MPC Vancouver. Amy Smith also contributed to the VFX industry's diversity and inclusion initiatives as a Non Executive Director at ACCESS: VFX. In addition, they have experience as an HR Business Partner at ITN, an HR Manager at Red Vision, and HR roles at Framestore and Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc.

Amy Smith earned their BA in English Literature from Durham University from 1999 to 2002. Amy then pursued their MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster, which they completed from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, Amy has acquired various certifications, including "Advancing a DIBs Strategy in Your Organization" and "Overcoming DEI Leadership Challenges" from LinkedIn, obtained in 2023. Amy also holds the certification of "STEM Ambassador 50 hours of engagement 2022/2023" from STEM Learning.
