Jim Vidal is a NYC-based CG generalist with extensive experience in lighting, texturing, compositing, and animation. Currently serving as a Senior Lighting TD at Framestore since December 2021, Jim previously held a similar role at CHRLX from April 2017 to December 2021, while also working as a freelancer in various capacities including animator and CG artist. Notable projects include contributions as a character animator for a photoreal VR piece featured at the 2017 Whitney Biennial and work on the video game trailer "Shadow of War". Jim's education includes a BFA in Film & Television Production from New York University, completed between 1995 and 1998.
