Joran Rivet is a skilled Senior Rigging Technical Director with extensive experience in the visual effects and animation industry. Currently at Framestore since July 2021, Joran contributed to the rigging for "The Little Mermaid" (2023) and previously worked on "Detective Pikachu" (2019). Prior to this, Joran served as a Technical Lead at Mikros Animation, focusing on rigging systems for "Tiger's Apprentice" and developing complex space switching and baking systems. Joran's career began with an internship at ZEILT productions, where texturing and rigging were utilized on the animated series "Barababor." Joran co-directed a short film titled "La Boîte" while at ESMA and has a solid educational background in artistic fields from ESMA and Condé, along with a Scientific Baccalaureate in Engineering Sciences.
