Michael Cable is a seasoned professional in the virtual reality industry, currently serving as Co-Founder at The Pixel Mine, an original content VR company, since March 2017. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Global VR Technical Director at Framestore, where contributions include a VES award nomination for the Fantastic Beast VR project on Daydream. Michael has also excelled as Lead VR Developer and was the lead developer for a real-time animation system for Beats By Dre, which won a prestigious Gold Lion award. Prior experience includes software development roles at BBC, where responsibilities encompassed developing Red Button apps and coordinating live news broadcasts globally, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and stress management. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Birkbeck, University of London.
