Muna El Shaikh

Muna El Shaikh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Muna currently holds the position of Director of School Improvement at New Century Education, where they focus on improving educational performance across all schools through effective school improvement strategies. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Customer Learning and Success at Framework.

Before joining New Century Education and Framework, Muna worked at Alef Education, starting as a Program and Curriculum Manager before progressing to roles such as Senior Academic Relationship Manager, Head of Abjadiyat, and Head of Special Projects - Global Implementation. Muna'sresponsibilities at Alef Education included managing academic relationships, developing programs and curricula, and overseeing special projects on a global scale.

Muna also has experience as an Educational Consultant at Global Vision for Training Educational Consultancy, where they provided expert advice and guidance. Muna served as a Career Counselor and High School Math Lead Teacher at the Institute of Applied Technology, leading a team of teachers and coordinating with the curriculum unit and school administration. Additionally, they worked as a Math Teacher at The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls, T. H. Williams High School PISD, and Brighter Horizons Academy College Preparatory.

Throughout their career, Muna has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a commitment to improving education, and an ability to effectively manage teams and projects.

Muna El Shaikh has a diverse education history. Muna obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Solid State Electronics from The American University in Cairo from 1990 to 1994. Later, they pursued a Teaching Certificate in High School Mathematics 8-12 from Region 10 in Dallas, Texas, from 2005 to 2007.

In 2012, Muna El Shaikh enrolled at Zayed University, where they completed their Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in 2015. Muna then furthered their education at the Emirates College for Advanced Education, attaining an NCFE Level 3 in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment from 2019 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Muna El Shaikh has also obtained several certifications. These include "How to Design and Deliver Training Programs" from LinkedIn, completed in November 2022, "Data-Driven Learning Design" from LinkedIn in May 2022, and "Inclusive Instructional Design" from LinkedIn in May 2022. Furthermore, Muna El Shaikh holds certifications such as "Agile Instructional Design" from LinkedIn since November 2021 and "Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®)" from Scrum Alliance, obtained in April 2021. Muna has also completed various other LinkedIn certifications in topics such as data visualization, measuring learning effectiveness, microlearning deployment, and many more.
