Jerome Dwight

Jerome Dwight is a senior Growth & Operating Executive for Multi-Family offices with direct oversight of portfolio companies with more than $1 billion in combined revenue. A recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, Dwight has led investments, turnarounds, and exit transactions on behalf of investor groups across financial services, Fintech, software, automotive, MedTech, and services businesses. His recent roles include EVP Canada for Cox Enterprises, a $21 billion revenue, third-generation family-owned enterprise which invests in businesses transforming the way consumers buy, sell, use, and finance cars. At Cox, Dwight charted a strategy to build and scale an integrated vehicle buying eco-system connecting car shopping, data analytics, logistics, and auto-financing leading to the launch of brands such as MUVITCanada.com the first AI-driven online car-buying marketplace, Kelley Blue Book Canada, Ready Logistics, Canada’s largest online vehicle carrier portal, and Nextgear Capital, now Canada’s largest non-bank auto-finance lender.

Dwight is the former CEO of Bank of New York Mellon Canada and previously served as Managing Director & Global Market Head at RBC International Wealth Management where he launched and built the family office institutional platform across the Americas, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia serving ultra-high net worth families with combined assets of more than $10 billion.

Since 2010, his own family office has led the investment and exit of notable transactions including the $2 billion IPO of InMode (Nasdaq-2019) a global med-tech leader in light-based laser and radio-frequency devices. Other notable family office exits include the IPO of Syneron (Nasdaq) on behalf of the pioneering surgeon and creator of the FotoFacial RF and ELOS devices the global standard in aesthetic medical devices. Dwight has advised on M&A, investment due diligence for the WE Family Office, GenSpring Family Office, Michael Lee-Chin family office, and sovereign wealth funds in Asia and the Middle East.

Dwight began his career as CFO for Canadian private equity firm Bayshore Capital one of Canada’s pioneering fintech venture firms. At Bayshore, he helped to invest in, build and exit some of Canada’s earliest fintechs such as iMoney (sold to Quebecor and Barclays UK), 724 Solutions (Canada’s largest-ever tech IPO), and wealth management software provider RPM Technologies, sold to Broadridge in 2019.

Dwight received an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Accountant (CA-CPA) designation. In 2020, Dwight was recognized by the Canadian Lenders Association as one of the top 25 Lending Executives in Canada. Dwight is also a recipient of the Award of Distinction conferred by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Canada).
