Michael Brakefield

Michael Brakefield is an accomplished professional in Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management, currently serving as the Director of Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management at Frampton Construction since April 2025. Prior to this role, Michael was the Project EHS Manager at eVAC Magnetics, responsible for EHS oversight in the construction of a new plant in Sumter, SC. Michael's extensive experience includes serving as an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant at Charleston Safety, LLC, and as an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Thorne, where EHS operations were directed across multiple locations and managed a significant team. Additional experience includes a leadership role at Phillips Industrial Services overseeing EHS programs, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of South Carolina and has completed OSHA 501 Trainer certification from Texas A & M University Engineering Extension Service.
