Since its’ inception in 1977,  FRANCE HELICES has become the international leader in marine propulsion manufacturing, design, and development. 

The R&D department is critically important, producing numerous innovative, patented designs throughout the company’s history, and continuing in the present day. France Helices manufactures all of its’ own products, and all manufacturing facilities are equipped with the most advanced equipment, computer technology, and software.

The France Helices product line includes everything needed for marine propulsion, from propellers to complete drive system packages. There are many FRANCE HELICES innovations and patents, such as the Surface Drive System (SDS) that enables boats to obtain very high speeds with excellent handling capabilities.

FRANCE HELICES has four sites which cover the complete range of production, in all sizes, from sailing boats to large fishing vessels to navy boats or mega yachts.

Company engineers and technicians determine from the customer’s specifications and design the type of propulsion system needed to exactly match the boat’s application. 

They also advise on the ideal choice of power and optimum gearbox ratio to obtain  maximum thrust.

More than 20,000 propellers per year are manufactured by FRANCE HELICES workshops.
