With a rich background in automotive journalism, Garsten previously held roles as a video reporter at Automotive News and as Head of FCA Digital Media at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, leading communication strategies for the global manufacturer. Early career highlights include impactful reporting for The Associated Press and The Detroit News, and a decade at CNN, where Garsten was a founding producer of Headline News. Education includes a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from the State University of New York at Oswego.
