Alex Devin

Alex Devin has a wealth of experience in the field of Quality Assurance, beginning in 2021 as a Senior QA Engineer at FrankieOne. From 2019 to 2021, Alex was a Test Lead at HROnboard, where they led testing across the business, designed data driven tests, and developed a test automation framework using Cypress. Alex also coached staff in designing and executing manual feature and regression tests. From 2016 to 2019, Alex was a Technology Specialist and Test Analyst Intern at Telstra, where they created an automated test framework using REST APIs, authored and executed compatibility/UI tests using Xamarin Test Cloud, and contributed to the development of accessible mobile applications. In 2015, Alex was an IT Support Officer at Richard Peterson Architect, where they provided web administration, technical support, and sales advice. In 2014, Alex was a Student Senator at the University of Ballarat, where they negotiated student issues with staff and university stakeholders. Alex was also selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Forum due to their extensive experience in volunteer and leadership positions.

Alex Devin completed a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from RMIT University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from Federation University Australia in 2013. Alex also studied Information Technology at Federation University Australia in 2012. In addition, Alex Devin has obtained several certifications, including Food Safety Handler from Hospitality Training Australia in November 2015, User Experience for the Web from Open2Study in June 2015, and various Cisco certifications between 2013 and 2015.
