Anandi Iyer

Anandi Iyer currently serves as the Head of the India Office at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the largest applied research organization in Europe, since July 2008. Anandi has extensive experience in fostering innovation and research partnerships, having previously held the position of CEO at the Investment Innovation and Research Alliance from January 2008 to October 2012, and as India Representative and Senior Advisor at Fraunhofer from 2008 to 2011. Earlier roles include Director at the International Technology Cooperation Network and Deputy Head at the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ). Anandi began the career at the Confederation of Indian Industry as an Executive Officer. Academic credentials include an MBA in Strategy from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Jesus & Mary College, University of Delhi, and a PhD in Innovation Ecosystems from Leipzig University.
