Chris Eberl

Chris Eberl is a professor at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and has been a part of the institution since 2014. Previously, Chris served as a group leader at Fraunhofer IWM from 2012 to 2018 and held a postdoctoral position at The Johns Hopkins University from 2005 to 2007. Chris has also contributed as an independent junior group leader at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie from 2007 to 2012 and as a scientific employee at the Max-Planck Institut für Metallforschung from 2001 to 2005. Chris holds a Dr. rer. nat. in material sciences, awarded with distinction, from Universität Stuttgart, where they completed their Diplom-Ingenieur in material sciences as well.
