Data Scientist at Fraym

Eddy Chebelyon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Eddy started their career as a Sustainability Projects Intern at Coffee Management Services in 2012, gaining exposure to the field of sustainable practices in the coffee industry. In 2013, they joined the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) as a Research Associate, where they worked until 2016, contributing to research initiatives.

Eddy then moved on to UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) in 2016, where they served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant until 2018. In this role, they provided support in research projects and teaching activities. Eddy then transitioned to the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management in 2018 as a Research Associate, working on various research projects until 2019.

Since 2019, Eddy has been working at Fraym as both an Associate Data Scientist and later as a Data Scientist. Eddy'sresponsibilities in this role include utilizing their data analysis skills to contribute to projects and perform data-driven tasks.

Eddy Chebelyon obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources Management from Egerton University, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in International Affairs at UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Eddy obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" from MITx on edX in July 2019, "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020, and "AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty" from AWS in September 2021.
