Jamie Sgro

Jamie Sgro has a diverse work experience with a focus on data engineering. Currently, Jamie is working at Fraym as the Data Engineering Team Lead since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jamie served as a Data Engineer III from January 2022 to July 2022 and as a Data Engineer II from February 2021 to January 2022 at the same company.

Before joining Fraym, Jamie worked as a Consultant at Correlation One from August 2020 to February 2021. Additionally, Jamie was involved in various roles at Sangwa Solutions, including being a Co-Founder, Project Manager, and Consultant from August 2019 to February 2021.

Jamie also gained research experience during their time as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Waterloo from April 2019 to February 2021. They were also a Globalink Scholarship Recipient - Guest Researcher at Mitacs from September 2019 to December 2019. Moreover, Jamie worked as a Global Governance Fellow at the Balsillie School of International Affairs from September 2018 to September 2019.

Jamie's earlier experiences include being an Accelerate Scholarship Recipient - Research Intern at Mitacs from May 2018 to September 2018, and working as a Data Automation Consultant at Grosche International Inc. from April 2017 to September 2018. Jamie's career started as a Mortgage Specialist at MCAP from April 2015 to September 2017.

Jamie Sgro completed a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with Honours in International Development from the University of Waterloo, during the period from 2014 to 2018. Following this, Jamie pursued a Master of Arts degree in Global Governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs, from 2018 to 2019.
