Raisa Behal

Raisa Behal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Raisa is currently employed at Fraym as a Project Manager since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Analyst at Fraym from July 2022 to December 2022 and as an Analyst from August 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Fraym, Raisa worked at The World Bank for a significant amount of time, starting as a Technical Data Consultant in February 2016 and continuing in that role until June 2021. Raisa'sresponsibilities included providing technical assistance to projects, constructing monitoring and evaluation tools, adapting existing instruments to project needs, and conducting impact analyses.

In this role, they supported the USAID Catalyst team by strengthening data systems and advancing data quality, as well as developing and standardizing Key Performance Indicators.

Raisa's experience at The World Food Programme involved working as a Consultant on the Refugee Vulnerability and Essential Needs Assessment (VENA) Survey from June 2019 to October 2019. Raisa contributed to improving humanitarian assistance programs and targeting vulnerable households by participating in the VENA assessment and designing a predictive econometric model. Raisa also provided analytical and advisory support to the WFP MEL team.

Raisa Behal has a strong educational background with degrees in both Economics and Development Economics. Raisa completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Environmental Studies at Macalester College from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Global Development Economics degree at Boston University, specializing in Development Economics and International Development, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.
