Fraymedia Foundation empowers women in the media sector to thrive, lead, and shape the industry's future.

Established on February 7, 2022, and registered as a non-profit company (NPC) in South Africa, the Foundation aims to enhance the representation and influence of women in media across South Africa, and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.  

The Foundation's mission is to foster democracy, diversity, and the unyielding spirit of women leaders through various initiatives, grants, networking forums, education and training, and enterprise and organizational development support.

The Foundation's initiatives, include the Rise & Shine Women in Media Breakfast Series; Women Media Mentors Programme; The EntreprenHer; ThisAbility Bursary Programme; Grants and Webinars.
