Adam C. Mark

Adam Mark is a Partner in Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk & Governance (PRG) Practice. With over 15 years of accounting and advisory experience, he has extensive expertise in delivering effective and efficient internal controls transformation and automation solutions to clients. He drives collaboration across three lines of defense, with a multifaceted focus on maturing an organization’s hindsight and oversight functions to provide more accurate insights to drive businesses forward. He also teaches organizations how to leverage technology and analytics to improve their foresight functions to anticipate what is around the next curve. Throughout his career, Adam has served clients in various industries, including manufacturing & distribution, restaurants, retail, utilities, transportation, logistics, hospitality and financial services. 

Adam has deep experience managing pre-IPO engagements to help organizations prepare for a more sustainable and smarter approach to going public. His understanding of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board allows him to help clients avoid common pitfalls that can cause costly fire drills. Before joining FD, Adam worked at Deloitte, where he was an active member of the firm’s Controls Advisory Practice. During his tenure as a Senior Manager with the firm, he managed risk-based audits on business cycle controls and IT controls both for internal audit and external audit clients. He also gave regular presentations to the audit committee and executive leadership on topics related to internal controls, as well as deriving business and operational risks from technical issues arising in IT environments.
