John Yoak

John Yoak is a state and local tax subject matter expert specializing in income and franchise tax, sales and use tax, and other business activity tax matters for mid to large-market corporations across various industries, including biotechnology and technology. Currently serving as SALT Senior Manager at Frazier & Deeter since 2023, John previously held positions at BDO USA, LLP and True Partners Consulting, among others. John earned a JD in Business and Tax Law from Stetson University College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. Additionally, John holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA in Business Strategy from Stetson University.
