Sam Benham

Sam Benham is a Senior Manager in Frazier & Deeter’s Assurance and Advisory practice, where he specializes in audits of financial and professional service companies, including lending companies, Professional Employment Organizations (PEOs) and broker-dealers. He is also an expert in timber and timberland audits with clients that include funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Timberland Management Organizations (TIMOs) and operating companies.

Sam works with public and private companies globally and advises clients on differences between U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards. Beyond client work, he assists in the management of the firm’s Audit and Attestation Methodology and Technology. His specialties include the theory and practical application of audit sampling.
