Tim Koch is the National Practice Leader of Transaction Advisory Services. He brings Frazier & Deeter’s clients over 30 years of accounting, finance and transaction experience.

Under Tim’s leadership, the firm’s transaction advisory practice provides buy-side and sell-side due diligence services to private equity groups, lenders, corporate strategic buyers and closely held businesses. Industries served include technology, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, transportation, construction, real estate, professional services and retail. He works closely with investment bankers, brokers, legal advisors, lenders and insurance underwriters to minimize risk and facilitate successful outcomes.

Tim focuses primarily on evaluating the quality of earnings and assets, cash flow, working capital, debt-like items, tax risks, opportunities and other issues impacting transactions. With a focus on the middle market, he has participated in transactions that have had enterprise values ranging from a few million to over one billion dollars. Many of the transactions have involved companies with cross-border operations.

Tim provides impactful perspective to clients given his significant senior executive experience, including being the Chief Financial Officer and executive committee member for a large privately held business. He was also previously recruited to serve as a Senior Financial Officer to assist a large public company reorganizing under U.S. bankruptcy laws. Tim spent the first eight years of his career with Arthur Andersen.
