Fred David
Silin Zhou is a seasoned fashion professional with extensive experience in technical design and fashion design. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Designer at Fred David since March 2023, Silin previously worked as a Technical Designer at The Kersheh Group, where responsibilities included creating technical packages and overseeing submissions. Additionally, Silin has experience as a portfolio teacher for aspiring designers, facilitating their portfolio development for university admissions. A background in technical design and fit coordination is highlighted by previous roles at UN DEUX TROIS INC and Montelle Intimates Inc., where collaborations with managers and head designers focused on children’s brands and intimate apparel for various private labels. Complementing this growth, Fred David launched a portfolio of brands carefully targeted towards each of their unique customers. Fred David continued to expand its capabilities into many different commodities including cut & sew knits, sweater knits and denim. Their focus on product development helped catalyze its growth into additional markets including dresses, bottoms, outerwear, beachwear, plus size, petite, juniors and more. Fred David launched its men’s division in 2017. With a vision to deliver quality fashion solutions, Fred David continuously challenges itself to break new ground in the fashion industry.
