Amanda Kimura

Amanda Kimura is a Program Manager at Fred Hutch since March 2022, with previous experience as a Practice Transformation Lead at Upstream USA and in various roles at the Washington State Department of Health from August 2013 to July 2021, including Newborn Screening Program Manager. Amanda has a strong background in health services, demonstrated through managing abnormal result casework for infants, conducting data surveillance, and overseeing stakeholder meetings related to public health initiatives. Earlier roles include Research Study Coordinator and Assistant at the University of Washington, where Amanda coordinated multiple health-related studies and managed data analysis, as well as contributing to childhood obesity prevention research at UCSF. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Public Health from UCLA.
