Mike Nescot

Mike Nescot is an accomplished Information Security Manager at Fred Hutch since April 2018, where responsibilities include leading the Information Security Engineering and Operations team to secure critical data and resources in the fight against cancer and infectious diseases. Previously, Mike held the position of Senior Information Security Architect at Fred Hutch, collaborating with developers and scientists on data science initiatives. From 2008 to 2018, Mike was the Director of Cloud and DevOps Solutions at JBS International, Inc., managing IT security and compliance for various government agencies and overseeing system architecture and web development. Mike's career at JBS International began in 1990, with roles ranging from Senior Health Information Specialist to Senior Web Development/IT Specialist, focused on developing web applications for federal entities. Mike holds multiple advanced degrees and certifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master's degree in Computer Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
