Patrick Paddison is a Full Professor and Principal Investigator at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where they have worked since 2008. They utilize functional genetics to explore the biology of mammalian stem and progenitor cells, focusing on gene products that influence stem cell behavior using advanced technologies like CRISPR-Cas9 and RNAi. Paddison earned both a BA and a BS in Psychology and Cellular and Molecular Biology from The Evergreen State College and holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
