With a focus on developing, financing, distributing and monetizing brilliant content, Fred Media is the largest independent, full-service distributor operating in Australia today. We manage a growing catalogue of more than 2000 hours of programming across a range of genres, focusing primarily on lifestyle, reality, documentary, factual and kids.

Fred Media also manages and distributes its owned and operated FAST Channels including Life Down Under, Bondi Vet, Real Emergency (with Nine Networks) and Love Pets (With BlueAnt media).

As a producer-centred boutique business, we pride ourselves on knowing our content inside out – and understanding what our clients need, whether they are international programme buyers or producer partners. Since Fred’s launch in 2012, we have been an integral part of the WTFN Group, an independent company that is now home to WTFN Entertainment (production), Fred Media (broadcast Distribution including FAST) and Radar, a rapidly expanding digital distribution business. 

We work particularly closely with WTFN Entertainment, helping to develop and fund content for the domestic and international market. In partnership with Radar MCN we offer our clients a “Total Distribution” solution, ensuring that they can maximise revenues from their IP across all possible platforms.

Fred exclusively represents the award-winning, ratings-generating content produced by WTFN Entertainment, as well as great content from other leading producers and rights holders around the world. Our programs have been licensed to broadcasters and platforms in more than 170 territories and include popular titles such as Bondi Vet, Space Invaders, Emergency Paramedics and Never Too Small.
