D'Andre Birthwright

D'Andre Birthwright possesses extensive experience in mental health and community support services, currently serving as the Manager of the Bridging Housing and Community Stabilization Department at Fred Victor, where leadership focuses on sustainable housing solutions for residents in Toronto Community Housing. Previous roles include overseeing Community Crisis Services to enhance mental health support for African, Black, and Caribbean communities, as well as delivering personalized case management for clients in crisis situations. D'Andre has a solid background as a Recreational Therapist serving diverse populations, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and has also worked as an Addiction Counsellor and Medical Imaging & Health Assistant. Educated at McMaster University, D'Andre holds degrees in Human Behaviour and Psychology along with postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health and Disability Management from Mohawk College.
