Daniel Kolta

Daniel Kolta is an experienced professional in risk management, controls, and regulatory compliance, currently serving as the I&CM Risk Governance Manager at Freddie Mac since September 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Navigant, where Daniel executed key strategic compliance engagements and conducted compliance auditing related to the national credit crisis. Daniel also worked as a Junior Financial Analyst at Life Cycle Engineering, supporting audit readiness efforts for the Department of the Navy. Earlier positions included serving as a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Gateway Agent for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Daniel holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.
