Gregory Watchman

Gregory Watchman serves as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Employment Law and Employee Relations at Freddie Mac since May 2019, overseeing legal functions related to employment and managing a team of lawyers. Watchman's previous experience includes roles as Managing Associate General Counsel and Associate General Counsel at Freddie Mac, as well as serving as Of Counsel at Paul Hastings, where a broad labor and employment law practice was managed. Additionally, Watchman held significant positions at the U.S. Department of Labor, including Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Assistant Secretary for OSHA, and worked as Counsel for the U.S. House and Senate Labor Committees. Educational background includes a JD from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Williams College.
