Jonathan Veum is the Vice President of Models & Analytics at Freddie Mac, where they manage a team of quantitative analysts overseeing credit and prepayment models for a substantial portfolio. They have extensive experience in the mortgage finance industry, specializing in risk management and financial analysis. Jonathan has also been a lecturer at Johns Hopkins University since 2001, teaching graduate-level courses in finance and economics, and previously taught at Elon University and the University of North Carolina. They earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Economics/Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara.
