Lawrence B. is an IT and IT Security leader with extensive expertise in cryptography and PKI, holding the position of Cyber Security Tech Lead at Freddie Mac since 2025. Previously, they served as Principal Cybersecurity PKI and Encryption Technology at AT&T and held roles at Dell EMC, Stanley Black & Decker, and Walmart, where they focused on security assessments, PKI administration, and cybersecurity engineering. Lawrence has also contributed to academia as a course consultant for Western Governors University, redesigning a Cryptography 101 course. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Chicago, graduating with the highest distinction.
