Mark Spates

Mark Spates is an experienced leader in project management and affordable lending, with a career spanning over three decades at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. They currently lead innovative targeted lending initiatives at Freddie Mac, having previously held key positions, including Director of Affordable Lending Offerings Management and Director of Customer Account Management at Fannie Mae, where they significantly increased customer relationships and purchase volumes. Mark has a strong background in developing solutions for housing finance agencies nationwide and has emphasized strategies to support first-time homebuyers while enhancing customer satisfaction. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Frostburg State University.
