Robert Koontz is currently the SVP of Multifamily Capital Markets at Freddie Mac.
Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Mr. Koontz served as a Vice President at both Wachovia Securities and Banc of America Securities. At Wachovia, they were a Deal Manager involved in the execution of fixed-rate conduit and fusion commercial mortgage securitizations.
At Banc of America Securities, Mr. Koontz managed the execution of a variety of commercial mortgage securitizations, including conduit, fusion, large loan, synthetic, seasoned and franchise transactions.
Mr. Koontz has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at Freddie Mac.
Robert Koontz has a masters in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University as well as a degree in Business Administration with a focus in finance from the University of South Carolina.
