Sherry Peyton

Sherry Peyton, AMP, has extensive experience in the mortgage and financial services sector, held various leadership positions at PenFed Credit Union and Freddie Mac, among others. At PenFed Credit Union, Sherry served from 2006 to 2015 in roles that included Assistant Manager for Mortgage Operations, Director of Quality Assurance and Training, and Director of Correspondent Lending, contributing significantly to training, operational support, and departmental development. In the role at Freddie Mac from September 2020 to November 2021, Sherry managed Credit Risk Policy and Fair Lending Risk, providing independent assessments and overseeing learning and development initiatives. Sherry's foundational experience includes working as an Escrow Technician at Lawyer's Title Company and as a Senior Underwriter at Riggs Bank. Sherry holds degrees in Leadership and Management from the University of Mary Washington and Business Administration from Penn Foster.
