Charles Snyder

Charles Snyder brings extensive experience in law enforcement and leadership roles within the Frederick County area. Currently serving as Security Manager for Frederick County Government since February 2022, Charles has also held the position of President of FOP Lodge #91 since January 2019. Prior experience includes a distinguished career at Frederick Police Department from November 1999 to November 2021, where roles included Sergeant, Corporal, K-9 Officer, and Patrol Officer. Charles has a strong background in union leadership, having previously served as Past President and Treasurer of FOP Lodge #91 from January 2006 to December 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Political Science from UMBC and an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Frederick Community College.
