David Starrett

David Starrett is the EVP and Provost for Academic Affairs at Fredonia. David has held this position since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Franklin Pierce University from August 2019 to June 2021. Before that, they were the Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Columbia College from August 2015 to April 2018. David has also served as Dean at Southeast Missouri State University from January 1995 to December 2015.

David Starrett has a Ph.D. in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Southern California.

They work with Michael Metzger - Vice President for Finance and Administration, Maria Carroll - Director of Human Resources, and Tracy Stenger - Interim VP, Student Affairs. David Starrett reports to Stephen H. Kolison Jr., President.
