Steve Rees

Steve Rees is an experienced professional in technical production and stage rigging systems, currently serving as the Owner of GreyBeard Solutions, LLC, since December 2010, where the focus is on the Retrospreader device. Rees holds the position of Emeritus Chair and Technical Director at SUNY Fredonia Theatre and Dance since May 2010, transitioning from a teaching role while continuing to contribute. Additionally, as Project Shepherd for the Rockefeller Arts Center Addition at the State University of New York at Fredonia, effective April 2010, Rees acts as a liaison among users, administration, and project architects. Rees previously served as Technical Director and Chair for the SUNY Fredonia Department of Theatre & Dance from September 1982 to August 2010. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Fine Arts in Technical Production and Lighting Design from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
