Emily Hicks is the Co-Founder and President of FREDsense Technologies, an early stage biotechnology company focused on creating biosensors for contaminants in wastewater. With a background in Biomedical Sciences, Emily has been involved in various projects related to genetically engineered bacteria and electrochemistry. Emily also served as the Student Team Leader for iGEM Calgary, leading teams in international competitions. Additionally, Emily was selected as an Accelerator Company Member at Singularity University Labs in 2015.
