Free Food Alert (FFA) is a social enterprise that aims to tackle food waste in communities, starting with university campuses. FFA connects community members to free food opportunities after catered events on University campuses via email and mobile smartphone notifications. Our subscribers include students, faculty, staff, & community members, and all that's needed to sign up is an email address associated with a Free Food Alert Alliance member organization.

Free Food Alert forms a community of individuals who care about reducing food waste and tackling hunger on campus. Our subscribers can become hosts after completing simple in-platform training, giving them the ability to post about their own free food giveaways and events.

By facilitating the redistribution of extra food immediately at the end of events, Free Food Alert helps reduce the environmental impact of food waste and ensures that food resources are utilized effectively.
