Tim Gassert has extensive experience in communication and legal roles. Currently serving as the Director of Web Communications and Corporate Secretary at The Boston Foundation since July 2002, Tim has held significant positions in the past, including Counsel and Vice President at Community Newspaper Company from January 1998 to January 2001 and Deputy Secretary of State for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from December 1984 to January 1995. Tim holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, with a focus on the First Amendment and civil rights, as well as an A.B. in Political Science and Government from the College of the Holy Cross.
