Free to Live is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and empowering pathways for survivors of domestic violence. Our mission is to bridge the gaps in mental health, education, and economic opportunity so survivors and their families can move beyond crisis into thriving futures.

Domestic violence is not a private issue — it is a public crisis. In the U.S., 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner violence during their lifetime. Survivors face not only physical and emotional trauma, but also barriers in housing, financial independence, employment, and access to supportive networks. Without intervention, these cycles can continue for generations.

Our impact extends beyond survivors. We actively partner with companies, schools, and service providers to create healthier workplaces and stronger communities. Businesses join us to build workforce development pipelines, provide internships and jobs to survivors, and collaborate on financial literacy and leadership workshops.
