Alex Davies

Alex Davies is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at FreeAgent since October 2020, Alex has previously held roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes serving as the Software Team Lead at Sumdog, where Alex contributed to full stack web development for an online educational platform. Alex has also shared knowledge as a Computing and Maths Tutor at The Tutor Company Edinburgh and offered tutoring in Informatics at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on Machine Learning. Additionally, Alex co-directed CRISP AND DAVIES LTD, which conducted West-African drumming classes and workshops. Alex holds a Master of Science in Neuroinformatics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh.
