Brooks Davis is a seasoned computer scientist with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Computer Scientist at SRI International since May 2012, Brooks is focused on developing a FreeBSD-based software stack for an advanced processor. Additionally, Brooks holds the position of Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge since August 2013 and has been an active Committer and Core Team Member for FreeBSD since June 2001. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Engineering Specialist at The Aerospace Corporation from July 1998 to May 2012 and various engineering internships with Attachmate and Intel Corporation, where significant contributions were made to software testing for groundbreaking technologies. Brooks Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College between 1994 and 1998.
