Jonathan Wright is currently the Head of Engineering (Scotland) for Freedom Group, part of NG Bailey, where they recruit and build teams to deliver Power, Energy, and Transmission & Distribution projects. With over a decade of engineering leadership experience, Jonathan previously served as Engineering and Quality Director at AECOM, overseeing a 1250-member Rail, Structures, and Ground Engineering team. They also held the position of Global Practice Lead for Transit in Europe at AECOM, demonstrating expertise in technical leadership and strategic partnerships in rail infrastructure design. Additionally, Jonathan has worked at BWB Consulting Ltd as Group Director for Rail and was instrumental in leading the internal design teams at Network Rail. Jonathan earned a postgraduate degree in Business leaders from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
